On March 17th, The Spinone Italiano Club of Greater Houston had a Specialty and Sweepstakes judged by our own Suzanne Hudson, and 2 Supported Entries at the Brazos Kennel Club show in Navasota, TX. It was a huge success due to Bonnie Blink and all the people who helped, thank you all.
The Supported Entry Committee would like the board and members of the Spinone Club of America to know that we currently have four more events scheduled for later this year. The Blue Water Spinone Association Specialty is scheduled for July 7, 2023, in Monroe, MI.
The West Coast Spinone Club Supported Entry is scheduled for July 29, 2023, at The Hurricane Ridge Kennel Club, Sequin, WA. The Northeast Spinone Club has a Specialty scheduled for June 1st, 2023 at the Ladies Dog Club of Wrentham, Mass. They will also sponsor a judge's education taught by Liz Bodel. The last supported entry is October 1, 2025, at Morris & Essex Kennel Club in Somerset, NJ. We are happy to have these Specialties and Supported Entries by our club.
To those of you who are interested in hosting a specialty event in conjunction with an all-breed show, we are here to help. Our Breed is very spread across the United States, so why not work with another state and its members and have a specialty or a supported entry? We offer monetary assistance and guidance to get your group through the processes. Offering Judges education is a big plus!

Currently, we have 5 Regional clubs, the Spinone Club of Greater Houston, the Northeast Spinone Club Association, the Rocky Mountain Region Spinone Club, the West Coast Spinone Italiano Club, and the Blue Water Spinone Association.
I would love to see some new clubs started up in the Midwest and southern states, we know you're out there!
