SCOA NATIONAL SPECIALTY 2023

A big thank you to SCOA’s Board and to all the Members for the invitation, I have really enjoyed the show, the perfect ring setting and the organization of my excellent ring stewards.

Just a few comments about the general quality of the exhibits and of my Winners, BOB/BOS... My impression is really excellent, the breed is really in good hands in USA.

Almost all the classes were of even type but the Best of Breed Competition class where I have found a few exhibits out of type.

Handling and grooming both of high quality. I loved the most part of the heads and the human expressions of the eyes, but I have found some broad and flat skulls. All the bites correct but 2 narrow lower jaws with canines inside.

Toplines were good, only a few cases of high croup and low withers. A few dogs with excess of tuck-up. In the classes for youngsters some dogs were not confident enough and many tending to side pace probably because of lack of training or insecure temperament.

My Winner Dog and Best of Winners is a well-proportioned masculine dog, excellent body and movement and correct toplines.

My Winner Bitch is a pretty young gal, with super type and excellent movement.

My BOB/BIS is a strong boy with excellent toplines, correct and typical head, balanced and with excellent movement and conditions.

My BOS is a beautiful bitch with the best head in the show, correct toplines and underline, with excellent reach and drive.

The Spinoni on my final line up would be Show Champions in Italy and I guess in any Country of the World.
