West Coast Spinone Club Summer Events

West Coast Spinone Club has several events coming up this summer. First, we are encouraging folks to enter the Hurricane Ridge Kennel Club shows July 26, 27, and 28 in Sequim, Wa. These shows have expanded to 3 days this year! The Superintendent is Baray Events. The premium is available now on their website. In conjunction with the shows, WCSC will host a BBQ/potluck on Sat. at Alan and Valerie Bush's lovely property in Sequim. There are 5 fenced acres and a (very clean!) pond for the dogs and people to enjoy. Come and join us for a fun afternoon, and a great show! 
Second, we (and SCOA) will once again hold a Regional Specialty in Aug. at the Rainer Sporting Dog Specialties (2 this year) and Olympic Kennel Club all Breed shows. These shows have expanded to 5 days: Aug. 14 and 15, RSDA Sporting Dog Specialties, Aug. 16 the SCOA/West Coast Spinone Club Regional Specialty, and OKC all breeds on Aug 17 and 18. We would love to have your support and participation at these shows! The premium should be up on the Baray website soon.
Third, we are in the planning stages for our annual hunt training/etc. weekend in Hooper, Wa. The dates are Sept. 26 (arrivals) with events Fri - Sun Aug 27 - 29. We will have hunt training of course; other activities are in the planning stages, but have in the past included grooming, obedience, rally, handling, and even art night and movie night! West Coast Spinone Club members will have first shot at this event, as we are limited by the number of rooms available in the Hooper Hotel, but we usually have a spot or two for non-club members. More detailed information will be posted as it becomes available.
