Website Support + FAQ

The Digital Assets Committee is here to help you find your way around the new website. We’ve created a series of videos to support site visitors. And the Membership Secretary is available to help with your membership questions.

  • This Renew Your Membership video (click here) walks through the process of creating a new login and renewing your membership.

This Filling Out Your Membership Profile video (click here) demonstrates how to fill out your Member Profile and put your info into the Member Directory.

  • This may be because you used your login credentials for the old website and they won’t work anymore. You will need to create a new account with the new website.

This Renew Your Membership video (click here) walks through the process of creating a new login and renewing your membership.

If you forgot your new password for the new site, you can click on “Forgot Password” on the login prompt and you will get an email to reset your password.

If you haven’t created a new account on the new site, you will not receive an email to reset your password because the new website does not have you on file.

  • Please fill out your Member Profile (you must be logged in to see this page). It helps our Membership Secretary keep track of all our Members and their interests.

  • New member applicants must be approved by the board before becoming a SCOA Member with voting and office-holding rights. They must also email the Membership Secretary a completed sponsorship form.

  • We made these changes to better support our Household Members, give them their own login, their own Member Profile and be included in the Membership Secretary’s list of all SCOA members.

If you are the Regular Member and you want to invite someone in your household (spouse, partner, etc) to join, this Regular Member Invites Household Member to Join video (click here) will show you exactly what that looks like.

  • Remind the Regular Member to send you an email or a text message with the link, click on it and renew or join. This Household Member Joins or Renews video (click here) will show you exactly what you need to do.

Or reach out to digital@spinoneclubofamerica.com, we can help.

If you are applying as a new Household Member, your membership must be approved by the board before you become a SCOA Member with voting rights. The person applying as a Regular Member will submit your application to the Membership Secretary.

  • Please reach out to the Membership Secretary at scoamembership@gmail.com directly. We’ll get everyone sorted. :)

  • The SCOA emails may be going to your spam folder in your email. Please check there and add SCOA to safe / non-spam senders.

Or the email didn’t go through for some weird reason that is beyond our technical knowledge. Please go to the SCOA site and log in to the website and double check to make sure that you can see your membership in your Orders.

This Doublecheck for Membership Confirmation video (click here) has all the steps you can try to find your confirmation within your orders.

  • You must be a SCOA Member to be on the Breeder List and SCOA individually approves new applicants.

When you’ve created a site login and renewed your membership:

This Join the Breeder List video (click here) will show you how to submit your kennel information as well as renew or apply for the first time.

All Kennel information submissions are added manually to the site and may take 24-48 hours to update.

  • This is not something that we normally offer.

Please reach out to the Membership Secretary at scoamembership@gmail.com to receive a discount code that allows you to renew without paying.

People who have signed up for the Breeder Listing are on an automatic renewal process. It allows you to:

    1) pay with the payment method you’ve saved to the website

    2) get an email from SCOA saying that your automatic renewal is coming up and your payment information is needed to renew

    3) cancel automatic renewal and remember to pay for your listing the following year

This feature is not available for membership renewals.

  • To change it within your website account and your Member Profile, follow the instructions in this Squarespace Account Settings and Member Profile video (click here).

  • We moved to Google Drive to make it easier for volunteers to organize our files and easier for members to browse and download them.

Anyone can view our publicly available Club Documents. These are up-to-date club information (like our breed standard) or current forms.

Anyone can view our publicly available Club Archive. This is a collection of PDFs from the previous website that we want to provide access to.

Members can view club business documents when they are signed into the website and have requested access.

Please watch this video for additional details on Google Drive (click here).

Or watch this video to see what it looks like to request access (click here).
