The SCOA Family Cookbook!

Eat, Drink & Be Merry!!!  Ways and Means wants to help you, your families & friends enjoy two of these three events. Over the past year we have introduced new products, including beautiful etched glasses. We want to publish a cookbook created by you and filled with your recipes for everyone to enjoy. We are looking for traditional recipes and new creations.  Let’s get creative with your Spinone in the kitchen!!

So . . . Dust off all those scraps of paper and handwritten notes that we all keep our “family heirloom recipes” on and submit them to us! You know which ones we’re talking about – the dishes that no one can get enough of. The ones where you NEVER have leftovers!

‍Pull out all your favorite recipes (they don’t have to be original), just any recipe that you and your family love and submit them to us! You know which ones we’re talking about – the dishes that no one can get enough of. The ones where you NEVER have leftovers!

Anyone submitting a recipe at the National for SCOAs Cookbook will be entered into a drawing to win a Spinone hat.

Your recipe can be submitted via email or given to Ways & Means as a written recipe. Recipes must be submitted no later than 10:00 am Eastern Standard Time on Thursday, May 14th. The winner must be present to collect their prize.

The recipes should fall into one of the following categories: Desserts and Sweets; Breads and Rolls; Vegetable dishes; Salads; Casseroles and Main Dishes; Game – Feather or Fur; or Dog Treats.

‍ Recipe submissions are free. Recipes must be typed using Word and submitted using this link:

Cookbook@SpinoneClubofAmerica.com

‍ ‍If possible, please submit a picture of your completed recipe. Your picture should be high-quality (as if you were submitting it to a magazine such as Gourmet), on a neat, uncluttered background, and the plate, pot, or pan should be clean (no drips, splatters, etc.). If you can, please include your Spinone in the photo, or submit a separate photo of your dog. Your pictures will accompany your recipes. “Food-related” costumes (chef, etc.) are welcome. No AI-generated photos, please. The Ways and Means Committee will review all photos submitted and decide which, if any, will be used in the cookbook.

Here is an example of what your photos should look like.
