Hotels
*Please note: There will be NO Host Hotel at the 2026 National. We are providing a list of many of the hotels in the Greeley area that are pet friendly. We advise that you make your reservations early due to the fact that one of the area colleges is having their graduation ceremony during the same time as our National Specialty and there is also a jazz festival planned in the area. This means that rooms will fill up quickly and it also means that prices have increased due to the demand for accommodations.

We have compiled a list of hotels near the Island Grove Regional Park in Greeley, Colorado. Since we don't have a host hotel this year, we were unable to secure a block of rooms at a discounted rate. All activities will take place at Island Grove. Some hotels are closer than others but all are close to the venue.
We found some surprises when we called the hotels. All of them charge a fee, either per dog/per day, or one flat rate per stay if you have a dog in the room. In addition, many are now charging a refundable deposit. Some are rather minimal but some are $100 or more. Along with that, many have a very strict policy on the number of dogs you're allowed per room. The reason for this is that many hotels are experiencing costly damages to their rooms caused by dogs and guests who don't clean up after their dogs. It's sad that so many people are inconsiderate and those of us who do things correctly end up being penalized. So please be aware of these rather new pet deposits that are in addition to the pet fees. We have no doubt that our members and attendees will be exemplary guests.
