Application for a Performance Registry of Merit
The Performance Registry of Merit recognizes the sire or dam that meets P-ROM qualifications.
P-ROM requirements
Sire: Produced no less than five (5) progeny equaling a total of ten (10) titles from AKC obedience, rally, agility and/or tracking.
Dam: Produced no less than three (3) progeny equaling a total of six (6) titles from AKC obedience, rally, agility and/or tracking.
How to Count AKC Obedience, Rally, Agility and/or Tracking Titles Each AKC obedience title counts as one title. A progeny who earns an AKC CD title and goes on to achieve an AKC CDX title would count as two titles. The same progeny then earning an AKC UD would count as three titles and further earning an AKC UDX would count as four titles.
Each AKC rally title is counted as one title. A progeny who earns an AKC RN title and goes on to achieve an AKC RA title would count as two titles. The same progeny then earning an AKC RE would count as three titles and further earning an AKC RAE would count as four titles.
Each AKC agility title is counted as one title. A progeny who earns an AKC NA would count as one title and the same progeny also achieving an AKC NAJ would count as two titles. That progeny continuing on in AKC agility and earning successive titles would count each additional title earned as one title to add to previous titles already achieved.
Each AKC tracking title is counted as one title. A progeny who earns an AKC TD would count as one title and the same progeny also achieving an AKC TDX would count as two titles. That progeny continuing on in AKC tracking and earning successive titles would count each additional title earned as one title to add to previous titles already achieved.
An application must include sire or dam’s AKC registered name, AKC registration number and list of progeny identified by AKC registered name and AKC registration number along with earned AKC obedience, rally, agility and/or tracking titles.
In addition, proof of AKC obedience, rally and agility titles achieved by sire’s progeny or dam’s progeny must be included with application. Accepted proof: Copies of AKC title certificates and/or a printout from the AKC website “Reports - Points & Awards” or “My AKC Titles & Points” indicating title completion.
Proof of sire or dam of each progeny being used to qualify is also required with application. Accepted proof of sire or dam: Copy of AKC registration and/or an AKC-generated Progeny Report and/or an AKC-generated Litter Report.
Applications must be filled out entirely. Applications must be signed. Certificates will be mailed to the name and address on the application.
Fee: $10 application fee for SCOA member. $35 application fee for non-SCOA member.
