The National Committee and I would like to give you an overview of the working/layout of the 2026 National to help you navigate your plans to attend the upcoming event.
The “Exhibition Hall” building is the main building where most of the events & activities are being held. This building will house Registration, Indoor seminars, Auction, Dining, Indoor grooming & crating, as well as the indoor show ring for Obedience & Rally and Conformation ring.
The outdoor ring will be located across (east) from the Exhibition building in the oval grassy area. “Day” of pop-up tents can be put up under the trees and away from the ring in designated areas. No generators will be allowed within 50 ft of the show rings.
There will be a limited amount of RV Electric only spaces available along the west side of the oval. Those reservations can be made via the RV Reservation form. Truck/Vans can reserve these spaces; the cost will be the same as an RV rental space. Only one vehicle associated with the reservation will be allowed parking in those spots. All other parking must be done in the SCOA Event parking lot to the west of the Exhibition Building.
RV spots are in the A & B lots and on the grassy oval. “A” Lot spaces are on asphalt with electric & water. All “B” spaces are north of the Livestock building on dirt with Electric & Water. “Grassy Curb” RV spaces are only on the west side of the grassy oval with Electric only. All Reservations can be made via the RV reservation form. Showers and Dump Station are on site.
Colorado can have inclement weather ranging from snow, rain or high temps in the month of May, please make plans to keep your dogs out of any type of weather, hot or cold. The committee has 72 indoor spaces in a the heated/air-conditioned Exhibition building. Grooming/Crating, 6 x8 ft spaces can be reserved for your convenience via the Grooming/Crating reservation form. It’s a worry-free time for you knowing your beloved Spinone are where you will be hanging out the majority of your time during the National Specialty. Please don’t make SCOA have to make that decision to break into vehicles for dogs left in vehicles with the weather being too hot.
Box Truck/ Handler Truck / Vans w/ generator or in need of more space will be allowed in designated area located on south end of Lot A.
Any questions please email drygrassspinone@gmai.com
I’d be more than happy to answer any further questions.
